Easter traditions can include dyeing eggs. I am always looking for textures. After I peeled some boiled eggs, I was going to crush them and spread in my garden. However, I decided to capture an image of the crushed shells. On the right image, I used overhead stove lighting and the shells were on a dinner plate but no surface was showing. I cropped, added highlights and mid-tones to make more colorful, sharpened in PSE 11. I tried various filters and it made very intersting backgrounds. The left images is anrtistic filter - neon glow. I changed the glow size and selected white as the glow color, but moving the sliceders got a more opaque velllum look. Hard to image original image was eggs shells.
