Found a milkweed pod with beetle larva present. I really did not like looking at this cluster of insects but it was kind of cool to see them in orange and black. If you look closely one has a different design and may be an adult. Took image with the pod on the diagonal. It almost looks like a halloween monster. LOL Camera+ Increased shadows, midtones, slight sharpening in PSE 11. Wonder how this would look at the library show for TOPS images?

Beetle Larva on Milkweed Pod - Cherry Lane Meadow
Found a milkweed pod with beetle larva present. I really did not like looking at this cluster of insects but it was kind of cool to see them in orange and black.
