Borage Buds Close Up - Max Contrast

       This plant is borage taken in my neighbor's garden..  I liked the pattern of the buds which was more close up than macro.  These buds will eventually turn into 5 petal purple flowers. The herb can be used in salads.  It was difficult to get the image the way I wanted.

       It was late evening and overcast.  There was little negative space since the whole image was same color of green. .  This was taken with my new iPhone 6 .HDR mode.   I cropped, increased the highlights, but then played with lightness and darkness sliders to try to get more definition of space. Decided to push for max contrast, then sharpened   Post editing iin PSE 11.
