When my sister was visiting last week we went to the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC. You can take photos for your own use in the regular collections. These two marble angle sculptures were in the Italian section They were carved by Agnostino Cornachinni between 1730-1735. The one of the left: AngelHolding the Veil of Veronica. The one on the right: Angel with the Instruments of Passion. Light was overhead in the museum so there are shadows. .
